SPPとは？

無計画な開発と急速な都市成長は、開発途上国の主要な問題であり、都市・地域計画を改善する必要があります。
国土・地域計画策定・推進支援プラットフォーム（SPP）は、日本政府と国連ハビタット福岡本部（アジア太平洋担当）が2018年に設立した、あらゆる地域レベルで、より効果的な空間計画の策定と実施の実現を目指すステークホルダーのネットワークです。SPPは、ニュー・アーバン・アジェンダの実施に向けた中心的な役割を担う国連ハビタットのグローバルな活動を補完し、経験や知識の共有に貢献します。

背　景

各国政府は、経済の変動、自然災害の増加、気候変動などにより、国や地方における空間計画の政策や手段を策定する上で、課題に直面しています。これらの課題に対して、ステークホルダーがどのように適切な対応を検討、開発、展開しているかを学ぶために、2023年2月にネパールで第5回SPP会合を開催します。
